The reef knot can be used for tying around an object and the object will be secure. Fun fact did you know that the has 5 different names reef knot has Reef knot, Square knot, Hercules knot, Double knot,brother hood knot and it is related to the Granny knot the shoelace knot  Thief knot, Surgeon's knot, Grief knot. The hardest bit was remembering everything. The easiest was learning how to do it.
